Well…the end of our internship training has come, and already, some of my friends have left. It’s a sad day on the inside, but I’m still happy, because I know we are all going to better ourselves this summer. It’s been a fun time in Washington D.C.
We got to see the Lincoln Memorial, FDR Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, White House, and much more. It was also my second time riding on a subway, so that was something interesting. The whole trip was pretty fun. Even though I’m not an early bird, getting up at 6 every morning was a interesting challenge. I think my alarm clock is still mad that I punched it in the face.
However, we made it. Now it’s off to our internships where we shall have some fun. I hope to see all of you again someday. I’m sure our paths will cross in some odd way. Maybe we’ll all be covering the same story. Who knows? But I won’t forget the friendships I’ve forged with you guys. Be easy!
